This Friday 7:30 to 9:30 am, at Ashmont Station! Fed Up with MBTA Cuts? There Is an Alternative!

Bostonians Freezing in the Snow

Join Budget for All on Friday morning, March 20, 7:30 to 9:30 am, at Ashmont MBTA Station to leaflet commuters over the threat of further MBTA funds cut by the feds.

Over the years, Congress has cut funds for MBTA operations and upkeep—and this winter we really felt it. Next week, Congress is poised to cut even more!

But there is an alternative!

The People’s Budget would increase funds to fix the MBTA and make the trains run on time! It would also invest in jobs, housing, and education, increase funds for Social Security and healthcare, and redirect Pentagon spending to domestic needs.

Congress will vote on the People’s Budget as soon as next week.

Call Congress to support the People’s Budget! Stephen Lynch (Dorchester, So Shore 202-225-8273), Mike Capuano (Somerville, Boston, Roxbury 202-225-5111), Bill Keating (202-225-3111), Joe Kennedy (202-225-5931), Seth Moulton (202-225-8020)
